Virtual Estimates

Understanding Virtual Estimates

In today’s fast-paced world, convenience is key. At Auto Body Solutions, we offer "Virtual Estimates" to provide a preliminary assessment of your vehicle's repair needs without the need for an in-shop visit. This process involves you sending us photos of your vehicle’s damage, allowing us to remotely evaluate and estimate repair costs.

The Nature of Virtual Estimates

While virtual estimates offer convenience and a quick initial assessment, it's crucial to understand that they are the least accurate form of estimates. The reason is simple: photos can only capture so much. They often fail to reveal the full extent of the damage, particularly any underlying issues that aren’t visible on the surface.

Limitations and Expectations

The virtual estimate is based solely on the images provided, and thus, is a very preliminary approximation. It's important to note that the actual cost of repairs is likely to change once the repair process begins. When your vehicle is physically inspected at our shop, we often uncover additional repairs that are necessary for safety and functionality, which weren't apparent in the photos.

Why Virtual Estimates Change

Once your vehicle is in our shop, we perform a comprehensive disassembly and thorough inspection, often referred to as 'blueprinting.' This process allows us to identify all damage, including hidden problems that were not visible in the initial photos. As a result, the final repair plan may differ from the virtual estimate, both in scope and cost.

Our Commitment

At Auto Body Solutions, our commitment is to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic integrity of your vehicle. While virtual estimates are a starting point, we recommend a follow-up in-person inspection for a more accurate assessment and to ensure all damages are accounted for. We prioritize transparency and will keep you informed throughout the repair process.
